In the first quarter of 2025, the beauty retail app market in France saw varied performance among the top five applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.

SEPHORA - Maquillage, Parfum began the quarter with strong weekly downloads, peaking at over 39K in mid-January. However, downloads gradually declined, reaching around 13K by the end of March. Despite this, the app maintained a robust user base, with active users fluctuating between 456K and 678K throughout the quarter.

Beauteprivee - Ventes privées experienced a decrease in weekly downloads from 14K at the start of the quarter to about 7K at the end. Active users saw a slight decrease, starting at 176K and ending with approximately 147K, demonstrating a steady engagement with the app.

Notino: profumi e cosmetici witnessed a notable spike in downloads mid-January, reaching nearly 10K, before stabilizing around 6K by the quarter's end. The app's weekly active users showed a positive trend, growing from 67K to 84K, indicating increased user engagement over the period.

Nocibé had its downloads peak at 16K in early January, but this number decreased steadily to about 4.5K by March. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 111K in the first week and ending at 81K, showing variations in user retention.

Yves Rocher : beauté & makeup saw a gradual decrease in downloads from 7K to 3K over the quarter. However, active users showed resilience, with a modest increase from 56K to 57K by the end of March.
